She rocks her skinny jeans...

because her mama can't...

Check out that teeny tiny tush.
Have you ever seen anything cuter than a baby butt in skinny jeans? I didn't think so.

Geez mom. Enough already.

PS
And yes. She is sleeping on her stomach and yes, she is too young for that.
I am sure Baby Wise or Focus on the Family or What to Expect the First Year or your mom has something to say about that. It's an experiment as she has crazy strong neck muscles. She's only doing it under my watchful eye (and my canon lens) I'll have you know this is the most restful I've ever seen her and we haven't had a battle over the swaddle or had to use the Dyson and she hasn't startled herself awake. Yet. We'll see.

PSS
Yes my living room looks like Fisher Price threw up.
It's not messy we are just stimulating a creative genius, people.

  1. I'm interested in hearing how the experiment goes. The books can only do so much... and my mom has no opinion as she admits to having me sleep in a metal death trap (i.e. antique metal crib) when I was a wee one! lol!

Love the jeans! Who cares what momma wears, as long as the little lady gets to be glamtastic!

  2. Keeg was way strong too, and I finally gave up and let him sleep on his tummy. I knew what everyone said, but everyone was not as sleep-deprived as he and I were. He needed to actually sleep. Also, I love the skinny jeans. I took more flack on the Wy's jeans than I did on the tummy sleeping! Everyone said she looked uncomfortable, but I thought she was adorable! Cute pics, and yay for rest!

  3. I can't rock my skinny jeans either. Baby # 2 slept on his stomach the whole time. Still does! Do what works!

  4. My kid occasionally slept on his belly as an infant, too, and got some really fantastic naps that way...I also had a bumper pad in his crib, and stuffed animals. Horrible, I know, especially given my profession, right?

  5. Super cute! A little fashionista in the making. And what are you supposed to do, watch her all night? Because when she can roll over, even if you put her on her back, if her tummy's what's comfortable that's right where she'll go!

  7. good job letting that baby sleep on whichever side she sleeps better on! they will probably change that rule again in 10 years anyway.... I'm all for tummy sleeping because the research for SIDS on back is blown WAY out of proportion. Plus, she has been so super strong since the get go... as if you needed my support or advice, ha!

campbell, your jeans are adorable and I LOVE that onesie you're rocking! :)

  12. The Triple A's all slept/sleep on their tummys(and boys have a higher sids risk). When the oldest A was in child care I had to get a note from our doctor that said he could. Otherwise they would not let him because of DHS. Our doctor only wrote the note because he slept in the same room not a sleep room.
