The bestie edition
Campbell Hope and I are on a hometown tour this weekend.
Today we got to spend a little bit of time with one of my very best friends.
Cori.
We've been friends since we were 13 year old ankle biters.
Within just a few years we turned our moms' hair grey.
Combat-boot - wearing, mall - shopping, movie - watching,
brownie - dough - eating, fake-language -speaking,
tattoo getting,class skipping, spy-mission - spying,
tattoo getting,class skipping, spy-mission - spying,
friends.
The best kind.
We lived in our own pretend world and thought we were hilarious.
The wandas: Tu - wanda & La - wanda.
Yep - we were that cool.
Now we are mommies.

Today, we got to hear our moms discuss how "annoying" we were as teenagers.
Us? Annoying?
Not only is Cori one of my best friends,
she is Campbell's birthday buddy.
I pray Campbell will have a friend like Cori in her life.
I do NOT pray that they will turn my hair grey...

ReplyDeleteOne of my bff's will be here next weekend with her husband and their 4 month old daughter. They're driving from Ft. Worth for our baby shower. I'm so excited that it hurts!
